The physical vehicle inspection process typically takes only 30 to 45 minutes. Our goal is to get you in and out quickly so you can get back to your day.

What documents do I need to bring for my Hawai‘i Safety Check?

To ensure a smooth process, please bring your vehicle registration and your current insurance card. Digital insurance cards (in the form of a PDF of the card itself) is acceptable.

How long does it take to perform a pre-purchase inspection and what’s included?

It takes about 60 mins to complete a pre-purchase inspection. We road test the vehicle to listen for noises and check for drivability issues, lift the vehicle up and go through a multi-point visual inspection, that includes inspecting suspension, brakes, checking for leaks, and scanning the vehicles on board computer system.
